The story

Every detail, considered.

Backlighting the feature stone changes what the material is doing. Lit from behind, veining reads as depth instead of pattern, and in a warm cream palette that is the difference between a wall and a light source.

The floating stone staircase repeats the idea at full scale. Architectural curves keep the transitions soft, and the crystalline pendants are the only element in the house allowed to sparkle.
